Skin Rejuvenation/ Acne Clear
The popularity of aesthetic procedures that aim to turn back the clock is sky rocketing. Brown spots, broken capillaries and other fallout from photoaging are easy targets for systems that use broadband light to repair these defects through a process called photorejuvenation. Additionally, facial wrinkles can now be treated non-ablatively, contributing to a more youthful appearance.
Using relatively low-energy, short-pulse broadband light, imperfections such as rosacea, superficial spider veins, age spots and other discoloured signs of photoaging can be gently heated and eliminated, replaced by newer, younger looking skin. Using infrared energy to heat the skin stimulates the growth of new collagen. Facial wrinkles can be eliminated easily and non-ablatively.

Pixel Laser Skin Resurfacing/ Wrinkles/ Acne Scars
Aging, sun exposure, heredity and lifestyle factors including nutrition, alcohol consumption and smoking all may contribute to facial wrinkling. Pigmentary changes of the skin, such as blotchiness or brown spots, may also occur with age or as a result of birth control pills, pregnancy or genetic factors. Prior acne may have made the surface of your skin uneven. These problems, as well as certain other skin conditions, may be improved by skin resurfacing. In laser skin resurfacing a laser is used to remove areas of damaged or wrinkled skin, layer by layer.
Pixel is a new FDA approved laser device designed to improve the quality and texture of your skin while stimulating collagen regeneration. The Pixel module delivers results equal to ablative lasers but it eliminates possible side effects of ablative treatments. It can also be used on the face, neck, chest, arms and hands, a much wider scope than the traditional technologies. Pixel is for the treatment of wrinkles, scars (including some acne scars) superficial skin lesions and skin resurfacing.

Patients will find the skin around the treatment area feeling firmer with a smoother surface texture. There is no need for pain medication. There is little or no discomfort during the treatment. Most commonly, patients feel some slight warmth with the pulse of the laser. Patients experience a mild sunburn sensation afterwards (3-4 hours) that is easily neutralised with a gentle moisturiser. Make-up can be applied immediately afterward.
There is relatively no down time. Redness may occur for a few hours to a few days and flaking for one or two days with full recovery in five days. Skin resurfacing with the Pixel is a gradual process that happens over several treatments, usually 3-5 sessions at 4 week intervals. Since Pixel is an Erbium Laser, patients with more moisture in their skin experience more sensation and greater results in fewer treatments. A patient with dry skin may require more treatments.
